1. Introduction

Welcome to Planora. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy notice, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the app, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the platform, or otherwise when you contact us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the platform, the choices you make and the products and features you use.

In particular, we may process the following data:

  • Account data: full name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo and your user ID. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and an account identifier from that provider; we never receive your Google or Apple password. With Apple you can choose to hide your email address.
  • User content: posts, blogs, photos and videos you upload, comments, reviews, ratings, likes, events, guest lists and to-do lists, booking requests and messages to our support team.
  • Vendor data: business name and description, addresses and map locations of your business and branches, price lists, availability and social media links.
  • Location data (see section 6).
  • Payment data: subscription, promotion and payment history (amount, date, status, Epoint transaction reference) and saved card tokens (see section 7).
  • Device and technical data: push notification token, device type and operating system version, app version, language, IP address, and crash and performance diagnostics.

We do not use your data for advertising tracking and we do not sell your personal data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our platform for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process.
  • To fulfill and manage your bookings.
  • To post testimonials and reviews.
  • To show vendors, posts and listings near a chosen place on the map.
  • To process payments for subscriptions and promotions.
  • To send notifications about bookings, payments and account activity.
  • To keep the platform safe: prevent fraud and abuse, handle reports and blocks, and fix crashes and errors.
  • To answer your support requests.

4. Data Protection

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

5. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share personal data only with providers that help us run the platform, and only as much as they need:

  • Epoint – payment processing (card payments and saved cards).
  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service – delivery of push notifications.
  • Google and Apple – only if you choose Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.
  • Sentry – crash reporting and error diagnostics.
  • Cloud hosting and media storage providers – storing the app data, photos and videos.
  • Map and address search providers (OpenStreetMap-based services) – map images and turning addresses into map points. Searches are sent through our server, without your account data.

Vendors you book or contact receive the details you share with them (for example your name, phone number and booking details). We may also disclose data when required by law.

6. Location

The app asks for location permission only while you use it, when you tap the button to use your current location on the map (for example, to set an event or business address or to find vendors nearby). Depending on your choice in the device settings, this is your precise or approximate location. We do not track your location in the background.

A location is stored only when you save it, for example as the address of your vendor profile, which is then shown publicly. You can deny or revoke the permission in the device settings at any time and enter an address manually instead.

7. Payments

Payments for vendor subscriptions and promotions are processed by Epoint, a licensed payment service provider in Azerbaijan. Your card number, expiry date and CVV are entered on the Epoint payment page and are handled by Epoint; Planora never receives or stores your full card details. If you choose to save a card, we store only a token and masked card information (for example the last four digits) provided by Epoint, so that you can pay again or renew a subscription. You can remove a saved card at any time.

8. Push Notifications

If you allow notifications, your device receives a push token from Firebase Cloud Messaging (and Apple Push Notification service on iPhone). We store this token with your account to send you notifications about bookings, payments and your account. You can turn notifications off in the app settings or in the device settings at any time. Tokens are deleted when you delete your account.

9. Photos, Videos and Your Content

The app accesses your camera or photo library only when you choose to take or upload a photo or video. Profile photos, posts, blogs, reviews and comments you publish are visible to other users of the platform. You can edit or delete your content in the app; content that violates our Terms of Service may be removed after a report.

10. Crash Reporting and Diagnostics

To find and fix errors, the app sends crash reports and performance data to Sentry. These reports contain technical information such as the device model, operating system and app version, the error details and the screen where it happened, and may include your user ID. They are not used for advertising and are kept for up to 90 days.

11. Data Retention

We keep your personal data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile and content are deleted. Payment, billing and booking records are kept for up to 5 years to meet tax and accounting obligations; support messages for up to 12 months; security logs and crash reports for up to 90 days; backups are overwritten within 30 days.

12. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → ⋮ → Settings → Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email. Step-by-step instructions and details about what is deleted and what is kept are on our account deletion page.

13. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, withdraw your consent (for example, to notifications or location access) and object to processing, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan on personal data. Most data can be edited directly in the app; for other requests contact us.
